Q: Why am I having these strong feelings?

Emotional releases are common during reiki sessions, much like you might experience emotions during a massage. You may not know why you are having the feelings, and that's okay. Many horrible agonies are suppressed by the conscious mind for good reason. The point of our service is to help you get the feelings out, and out of your way.

We do not profess to be psychic. We do not know why you are feeling what you are. The general reason is: We are transition specialists. Since you have found us, and felt drawn to work with us, you are due for a change. As part of whatever transition you are involved in, you must let go of something that is painful to part with.

You may be letting go of the house you grew up in, or your fear of success. That is up to you to figure out.

We are not trained as counselors and cannot legally become involved with your case like a counselor could. This session is subtle in nature, and is not intended to replace licensed professionals when needed.

Q: Can you tell me who I was in a past life?

There are many psychics available for such desires. We do not delve into that. Our services are for straightening you out in this lifetime so that you can evolve--now. Your past is in the past. Close that door and move forward. Our All Incarnation session was designed to help you close the various doors of your past, not to re-open them. During the AI session, you may find out some information about previous lifetimes via dreams. Keep a journal handy for that possibility.

Q: Can you heal my...?

Our services are not intended to replace licensed medical or psychological care. Please see a professional for all serious illnesses. We work mostly on the subtle mental and emotional levels. Although our work may provide you with some relief of some symptoms, we cannot for legal reasons say that we practice healing. We cannot prescribe or strongly suggest any action on your part that might be somehow construed as medical advice. You will find that we are very careful about our wording in any communications with you, tending to keep our emails short.

Q: Who else is on the team besides Alice Norris?

There are a number of folks on the team, but because of threatening actions on the part of various entities, the rest of us are being kept anonymous.

We are all highly trained and thoroughly capable. If you would like to join the team, you are free to contact our HR department. Be aware however, that training up to this level is expensive and time-consuming. We usually just search out people who are already trained and ask them to join us.

Q: How long have you been doing this?

Alice Norris got started with reiki on animals back in 1980. She began actively promoting herself as a reiki practitioner and developed a team in 2002. The team has become very strong, and has dependable results. We can now confidently expand, reaching more people than ever before!

Q: What relation does reiki have to God?

For us here at Norris Reiki, reiki is a universal energy available to all. You do not need a religion in order to practice or receive such services. These normal human abilities have for the most part remained untapped. Just because they are not fully understood, doesn't mean that they are what one usually considers to be the work of God.

Since we are as yet unable to quantify it using the current scientific abilities, it is labeled by most as a religious belief, a system of faith. It cannot therefore be considered true medicine. Its power is usually assigned to God, much like prayer assigns all power to God.

We use the term "higher self" to refer to that part of us beyond the physical knowledge of our body and conscious mind. This higher self has a great deal of power and is sometimes mis-named as God. We consider this to be highly insulting both to one's higher self and to the entity known as God who is much greater than the level on which reiki and other energy workings reside.

If I worked hard on your case, I don't care to hear you giving all the glory to God. That angers me. If you spent all day cooking me a luscious meal, and I thanked the guy down the street for it, how would that make you feel? Likewise, I am utilizing human abilities, and I trained myself in order to give you the highest quality. Reiki is work that I do for you and I would expect payment and credit for it.

If you wish to relate our services to God, you can say that God granted me the abilities I have, and it is in his will to have me trained up in them for the benefit of all whom he chooses to draw to me. God decides how much benefit and in what way you receive the services. If you believe that God is love and wants the best for all of his people, then (if you have tried reiki) you will understand that this is a good thing for all of God's creation.

If you wish to relate our services to Christianity, you can do so in the following way: Jesus said we would be able to do greater things than he was doing because he was going to the Father.

Read just the red lettering of your favorite translation, and you might understand. If you choose to say you have no power, or that others have no power, you are calling Jesus a liar. We have incredible amounts of power which is what Jesus was constantly trying to relay.

All the other writers talk about us being weak. Generally, religious leaders also call us weak. Jesus always spoke of our power, but few take him at his word. It takes hard work and dedication to use your power. It's really quite sad that most people expect God to do everything for them because they've always been told how powerless they are.
